SPINNER AND LURE MAKING

Use
a Pair of Needle or Round Nose Pliers
When
making French Spinners of the type shown use an open loop wire spinner wire
shaft with one end straight and the other end open or make one with a wire
forming tool or need nose pliers.
1
Place a hook in eye of the open wire shaft. Pinch the two ends together and slid
the desired spinner body over both ends. Then slide any other spinner body
component(s) down the shaft.
2.
Add any die cut prism tape to the blade. Slide the clevise into the blade hole.
Slide the wire shaft through the holes of the clevise. (The concave side of the
blade faces the spinner body).
3.
Using your needle nose pliers grip the wire shaft firmly 3/16 to Ό above
the clevise.
4.
Hold the pliers and slowly bend the wire over the top of the pliers 90 degrees
to the shaft. You can now add a crane swivel to the shaft.
5.
Bend the wire shaft down and around the pliers in the opposite direction a total
of 270 degrees. Do not move the pliers, only the wire.
6.
Now wrap the wire around the shaft two times close to the pliers. Remove the
pliers and trim off the excess wire close to the shaft. Straighten the eye
inline with the shaft of the spinner.
